Air New Zealand and Air China have launched sales for a new daily service between Auckland and Beijing flying from 10 December 2015!
The national carriers have formed a strategic alliance on their services between New Zealand and China. Under the alliance Air New Zealand will continue to operate services between Auckland and Shanghai while Air China will commence the new service between Auckland and Beijing. Flights can be booked on both routes with either Air New Zealand or Air China, regardless of which airline is operating the flight.
The alliance will see air capacity between Auckland and China increase by more than 25 percent year round and offer a range of benefits to customers.
The alliance will offer better access to Air China’s comprehensive domestic network for Air New Zealand customers and enhanced access to Air New Zealand’s network including domestic New Zealand, Australia, The Pacific Islands and South America for Air China passengers.
Both Air New Zealand and Air China are members of Star Alliance, meaning customers will continue to enjoy reciprocal frequent flyer benefits including loyalty earning and redemption and lounge access.
