ePass means you’ll spend less time in the Airport.
Your new Airpoints™ card comes ePass-ready. There’s no need to activate, you can use your ePass straight away. ePass is an electronic tag inside your card that identifies you at our airport kiosks within the Domestic Terminal.
Simply enter your Airpoints number when you book your flight. Then, if you’re travelling on an Air New Zealand domestic flight you can speed up your check-in by scanning your Airpoints card at the kiosk.
- ePass works on a radio frequency and contains an encrypted code unique to you
