With mPass on your mobile phone you can:
- View up to date details of all your flight bookings.
- Go straight to the gate when travelling within New Zealand without bags. mPass acts as an electronic boarding pass.
The mPass boarding pass is also recognised by Air New Zealand airport kiosks. Just scan your mPass boarding pass to collect baggage tags when travelling domestically with bags. If you're a Koru member, scan your mPass boarding pass for entry to the Koru Lounge.
mPass runs on most common mobile phones that have Java installed and an internet connection.
mPass is also available on your iPhone.
Downloading mPass
To download the mPass application, go to airnz.mobi on your mobile phone browser and click on the mpass link on the homepage.
By downloading, installing or using the mPass Software you agree to be bound by the mPass Terms and Conditions.
Using mPass
Airpoints login
If you're an Airpoints member, use your myairnz (previously My Account) details to login to mPass. mPass will retrieve all the bookings associated with your Airpoints number.

Add a booking
Choose 'Add a booking' if you are not an Airpoints member, or if your Airpoints number is not on the booking. You'll be asked for your booking reference (a six character code ending in 'H') and family name. If you don't have a booking reference, just continue to the next screen where you can enter further information to retrieve your booking.
View flight list
Once bookings are downloaded to the phone, they will be stored on the phone's memory, and viewable under 'View flight list'. Select a flight to view your mPass boarding pass (domestic flights only).
Refresh flight list
Choose 'Refresh flight list' from the mPass menu to update flight information. This will check for any changes to your flights, add any new bookings against your Airpoints number and remove any cancelled or fully flown bookings. Refreshing requires a connection to the internet and will be charged at your normal internet data rate.
Clear flight list
'Clear flight list' will clear flights from your phone's memory. If used, you will need to login or 'Add a booking' again to view flights.
Exit mPass
Choose 'Exit mPass' to close mPass but retain your flight list for next time.
