Air New Zealand is increasing the number of flights between New Plymouth and Auckland from October.
Air New Zealand Group General Manager Australasia Bruce Parton says there will be an additional return service each weekday, increasing the airlines total seat capacity on this route by five percent.
"Over the past couple of months I've made a point of visiting customers in many of the regional towns and cities we service - including New Plymouth. Their feedback was overwhelmingly about price and frequency.
“Air New Zealand recently introduced our new Starfish Card which gives frequent flyers up to 30% off all regional fare types and I’m now pleased to be able to announce this new addition to the New Plymouth schedule.”
These additional services will be operated by our Q300 and Beech 1900D aircraft. They are on sale now for travel from 11 October. Smart Saver fares between New Plymouth and Auckland are available from $70 one way.
