Air New Zealand is increasing the number of flights between Palmerston North and Auckland during the evening peak travel time.
Air New Zealand Group General Manager Australasia Bruce Parton says there will be an additional return service each weekday evening between 5.30pm and 8.30pm, increasing the airline’s total seat capacity on this route by nearly eight percent.
"Over the past couple of months I've made a point of visiting customers in many of the regional towns and cities we service - including Palmerston North. Their feedback was overwhelmingly about price and frequency.
“Air New Zealand recently introduced our new Starfish Card which gives frequent flyers up to 30% off all regional fare types and I’m now pleased to be able to announce this new addition to the Palmerston North schedule.”
These additional services will be operated by our Q300 aircraft. They are on sale now for travel from 24 September and will be reviewed after a three month period. Smart Saver fares between Palmerston North and Auckland are available from $80 one way.
