Air New Zealand confirms this afternoon that a Q300, operated by subsidiary Air Nelson, experienced a nose wheel failure after landing at Blenheim at 5:05pm.
Flight NZ8441, from Auckland to Nelson, had diverted to Blenheim due to poor weather in Nelson.
There were 46 passengers and three crew onboard. There were no injuries.
The aircraft remains on the runway and will be inspected by engineers.
Passengers are being looked after in the terminal and alternative transport is being arranged.
