Hollie said... Firstly the guy couldn’t find our booking. Then when he did he gave my friend and I and another couple the briefest explanation of what to do for the walk part. He said that we would be greeted by a girl with blonde hair when we arrived at the beach and that we would have lunch at 12:30. We left around 8:30 and got to the very overcrowded beach at 10:30. Nobody was there from the company. 12 o’clock came and there was still nobody. 12:37 and someone finally arrived. She was very flustered and didn’t know what was happening. Then was no roundup of people to say what was happening. The 4 couples waiting had to tell the host who we were and that we were waiting. She then asked us to help her set up lunch. Lunch was some gross vegetarian delight of mixed up veg and hummus sandwiches which made them soggy. Followed by warm orange and apple. Then it wasn’t until around 1:40 that we were able to start the kayaking. The kayaking was ok, the idea of Adele island is better than the reality. The birds were not really part of it at all. We just got told to listen for them as we went past it. Then when we got back WE had to load the kayaks, then WE had to unload the kayaks which are extremely heavy and not worth the back damage. We then had to clean all of our equipment. So if you want a nice experience don’t waste your money on this. It was disorganised, chaotic and we were asked to do things that I believe is the staffs job. Finally, I explained this to the staff at the end and there was no apology and I felt like they really didn’t care. AVOID. Do the walk yourself, buy a decent lunch, pay more than half the price for a self guided kayak and you’d have a much more organised day.
