Your experience begins at our base at 66 Onetangi Road, Waiheke where the friendly and experienced team at Waiheke HorseWorx will greet you upon arrival and introduce you to your horse.
After getting acquainted with your new furry friend and a brief riding induction, we will set out on our adventure.
Soak up the amazing views of the Hauraki Gulf as we head through the bridal path to the beach.
Along the way you’ll get to marvel at some of the unique culture and architecture and see a variety of birdlife.
We will then journey along the beautiful Onetangi Beach, with stunning views along the way, cafes and vineyards, culture and history,
You have the option of finishing your ride at one of the many vineyards and enjoying an award winning wine or alternatively finishing back at our base where there are many transport options to take you to your next destination.
A truly magical horse trek where you can be at one with nature and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes that Waiheke Island has on offer.

Absolutely brilliant
Had a brilliant time with my lovely horse Mercedes. Fresh from fighting orcs on The Hobbit filmset, she was extremely calm. We enjoyed a lovely trot along the beach. Highly recommend this activity. Wonderful staff who made us all feel at ease with the horses.
