We saw several different native bird and other species and learned alot about the history of the area and of course the natural history and current habitat and residents of the park. Ness is a great guide who is native to the actual place herself, who was able to produce hot drinks and snacks from thin air, and to out-talk four Americans and two Irish. She is a mine of knowledge and also bakes the best chewy choc cookies which can be obtained from an honesty box at 851 ************ Road. She was also very helpful with managing people's access to and from the tour and generally with directions and other info, as well as helping us to repair our electric car with her bare hands. Don't miss it if you're anywhere near the area!
