Rosie said... We (a couple) went on a day trip to Waiheke on Saturday 12 February. The trip over was okay, lots of families. However, on return the ferry was swamped with multiple hen parties. People were vaping in the queue, they were drunk and didn’t have their masks on in the terminal and on the ferry. I’d say a quarter weee not in masks. There was an announcement to not drink your own alcohol as Fullers could lose their license but no reminders to adhere to Covid rules. Oh and I didn’t mention, we couldn’t get on the first ferry at 5:30 as it was packed and over capacity. It took an hour to return to Auckland once on the 6pm but that was due to weather issues. I advise not to return on the ferry on a Saturday in the late afternoon/evening. Fullers needs to be stricter with mask wearing.
