Travel by coach and ferry to Kangaroo Island before beginning an anti-clockwise route around the island, meaning less backtracking and more exploring. Visit some of the island’s most famous natural attractions including Seal Bay Conservation Park, where you’ll join a ranger-guided beach walk among wild Australian sea lions in their natural habitat. Enjoy lunch at Kangaroo Island Brewery and soak up the relaxed island vibe. Keep an eye out for koalas, kangaroos and birdlife as you explore scenic spots such as Duck Lagoon, Pennington Bay and the stunning hidden beach at Stokes Bay
Stay overnight near Flinders Chase National Park at a relaxed island base, perfectly located for exploring the western end of the island. Choose from shared bell tent camping for a fun social experience, private bell tents for extra space, or motel-style rooms for added comfort (subject to availability). Shared bathroom facilities are available for camping options, while motel rooms include private ensuite bathrooms. This prime overnight location gives you an early start to beat the crowds at two of the island’s most famous icons on day two - Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.
