Come and join us in paradise for a surf adventure like no other on one of the Gold Coasts most beautiful beaches, famed for its natural beauty, mountain backdrops and incredibly turquoise water!
This stretch of coastline provides great waves for beginners and advanced surfers alike. No experience is required, and our lessons are run by our fully accredited surf coaches that cater for all levels of ability.
You’ll also receive insights to ocean safety, awareness and surfing etiquette as well as learning the basics of surfing during your fun filled lessons.
Surf Location: Tallebudgera Beach
Self drive option:Please Park at the Tallebudgera Surf Club and allow a few minutes to find a park especially on the weekends.
Session Times:Session 1 - 8:30am and Session 2 - 12pm

Everything great
Instructors were very friendly and helpful, and the photos turned out well. Everything worked as expected

Waste of money
I was there an hour early. I paid for two but my son didn’t feel like going. There were long and short wetsuits. I wanted the long wetsuit but he gave me the short one. When he said himself the ones that would come later would get it. There were 8 of us and 2 instructors. The boards were too big and heavy and the tides were too strong. I only got assistance 5 times in the 2.5 hours. Not worth it. Not fair too. I didn’t receive any photo.

Group was too large
There were at least 10 people in our group, mostly beginners, which was a bit too large for proper learning, and high risk of getting into each other's way. the line formations for ordering was also confusing and not evenly enforced across participants. smaller group would have been more helpful

Hi Emma, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your surf lesson with us on Saturday. We had a big group of 14 people but we had 4 surf instructors working so you should of received plenty of attention. I have passed on your comments to the instructors who worked that day. In the future groups of this size will be split into two separate groups. Thanks for your feedback!

Unforgettable Experience Highly Recommended
The weather was perfect and everything was wonderful. In particular, Teddy, who taught the kids, was absolutely amazing. He made sure no one was left behind—even running to help a young child who was being swept away. That’s not an easy thing to do in the water. He was full of energy and taught so well for the entire two hours. We are very grateful. We haven’t received the photos yet, but we’re really looking forward to them. The photographer was also very passionate and took great pictures. Could you please let us know where we can access the photos?
