Lovely peaceful and informative cruise. Great staff members. Thanks.
Overall it was a great experience and informative. However I thought I had booked a full tour meaning we would cruise up and then down on the Yarra but instead we went one direction, came back to the start point and had to disembark. We then had to wait for some time, until we caught another boat to go up in the other direction to finish the full cruise. Not clearly stated when booking and we chose not to wait for the second half of the cruise.
Although it was wonderful to be on the water, we booked the two hour cruise and got off after one hour. The river is beautiful, and the trees were lovely, but you could not see anything that was being narrated on the overhead speakers due to all of the trees so you’re basically sitting on a river listening to somebody talk about things you cannot see. The history of it all was interesting but I can look that up on my phone.
