Come and enjoy a half day relaxing self-guided kayak or SUP down the mountain fed Babinda Creek, 50 minutes south of Cairns. Suitable for ages 2 and above!
Babinda, situated in World Heritage listed Wooroonooran National Park, is a 50 minute drive or train ride south of Cairns. Thanks Anna, so glad you and Mark had a wonderful day, it is just the perfect time to float down Babinda creek.
This was our second time and it was even better than the first. The owner is a really top bloke and makes you feel welcome the minute you meet him. We will definitely be back. It is now our favourite activity in Cairns.
Thanks for the review Darren, so glad you had such a great day, it is a beautiful creek and so glad I am able to share it with you, thanks Paul
Thanks for the review Belinda, so glad you and the crew had such a great paddle, Paul
Such a lovely way to spend a hot humid afternoon. The river was clear and beautiful, teaming with wildlife. I almost forgot to paddle at times!! Paul was the best host, the ice creams he provided at the end made for a perfect trip. If you are ever in the UK Paul, get in touch and I will show you UK Kingfishers on our local rivers!
Thanks for the review Wendy, so glad you had such a great afternoon and hope you get to see your crock, will let you know if i am ever over that way, will have to be in your summer, Paul.

Highly recommend
Loved the experience! Really easy to paddle, beautiful views all along, lots of little sandy beaches to stop for a picnic. The service was outstanding. We arrived a bit earlier than the start of our session but were put on our kayak straight away. Dry boxes for phones and cups for drinks provided:) The pick-up at the end of the route was timely, and there was even a little treat waiting for us! How good. Will definitely come back again!
