Join Wooroonooran Safaris on a day tour to the largest World Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest in Australia. The National Park is located just 40 minutes south of Cairns, boasting the 2 highest mountains in Qld, giant waterfalls, and beautiful crystal clear swimming gorges.
You will get to visit a rare and significant Wetland for birdwatching, take a crocodile cruise through a mangrove river, and have a delicious buffet lunch with dessert!
Crocodile Cruise adventure - See massive crocodiles basking in the sun in their natural domain with a natural rainforest setting nestled in a World Heritage backdrop. Learn about the unusual breeding habits of the giant reptilian beasts. There will be the chance for some bird watching along the fringes of ancient mangrove forests, and discover an environment so valuable to the Great Barrier Reef.
Babinda Boulders - Take a walk to the breath taking granite gorge. It lies in the valley between the 2 highest mountains in QLD. Learn about the Aboriginal legends about the creation of the giant granite Boulders, and the tribes from the region. You’ll have the chance to take a swim in cool crystal waters with fish and turtles, all under the sun and rainforest canopy.
Visit Josephine Falls: We stop to check out this secluded freshwater waterfall, located at the foot of Queensland’s tallest mountain. A series of waterfalls flow into large boulder-surrounded pool. Rainforest trees hang over the water which keep it cool and refreshing. We take a short walk to a series of dramatic cascading waterfalls, learning about the amazing features of a rainforest
Eubenangee Wetlands: Take an adventure walk through this natural crocodile breeding habitat and spot a variety of bird species! Enjoy the spectacular views over this rare & unique protected wetland.
All tours are delivered in English however depending upon availability an accredited language guide may be assigned to the tour:
Tour departs: Cairns 7:50am, Northern Beaches 7am, returning by approx. 6pm

Very informative yet chilled out tour, not too many people, 13 was a nice number, saw kangaroos first up, loved josephine falls, saw a croc on our river tour At Innisfail and wonderful Italian buffet lunch. Finished the day at babinda for a lovely swim and kids all jumped off the rocks. Recommend highly.

A very busy day covering a huge area south of Brisbane. Highlights included visiting Josephine Falls, cruising on the Johnson River where we spotted a croc sunning itself. Finishing the day with a cool dip at Babinda Boulders. The buffet lunch in Innisfail was awesome, lots of variety including great Italian Cuisine.

WOW.What a fantastic experience.Albert and Teresa were exceptional.Very informative and helpful.The sights were great.Lunch was so good.To finish off the tour with a swim at Babinda was great.I would recommend this tour to everyone

Regenwald Tour
Tour war gut organisiert, ist aber auch im Alleingang zu machen. Reiseführer sehr nett und bemüht , aber wegen des starken französischen Dialektes für andere als Franzosen und englisch sprachige Teilnehmer schwerer verständlich.Eine kleine Flasche Wasser pro Teilnehmer ist definitiv zu wenig.
