Your day begins with a pick up directly from your hotel and transferred to our Quad bike site. We provide a short introductory training briefing and some practice before venturing into the Rainforest, where the fun begins! Your actual time on the bike is approx. 1.5 hours. During this time you’ll get to experience adrenalin pumping and exciting bumps, creeks crossings and adventures!
You will get up close and personal with the Rainforest and have the chance to take photos along the way. There will be plenty of stops and also provide morning tea
Part two begins!
Next we transfer you to the Reef Fleet Terminal where you Reef experience begins. Green Island is a beautiful coral cay on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
Green Island, a Marine National Park, is surrounded by white sandy beaches and uniquely Rainforested. Magnificent coral reefs and abundant marine life surround the Island for you to enjoy! Your visit gives you 2 hours at Green Island and included is the choice of snorkelling gear or a glass bottom boat tour.
Travel time to Green Island is 45 minutes from Cairns. You have the option to take part in the many activities available or simply relax on the beach. Our friendly crew will help you to organise your activities to make the most of your time on Green Island.

Departure and return times: Departs at 8:15am and returns by approx. 5:00pm
If you are travelling from Port Douglas, Cairns or Northern Beaches you can drive directly to our quad bike site at 186 Mt Haren Road, Kuranda.
Complimentary pick up is available from Cairns and Northern Beaches accommodation however not Port Douglas. If requiring transport from Cairns and Northern Beaches, please get in touch with the tour operator.
Northern Beaches Transfer: If you are requiring drop off to Northern Beaches accommodation after the Reef tour there is an additional $11 for the one way transfer fee per person. This is payable direct to the operator on the day of travel.
Guests must travel on both activities on the same day

Atv was a highligh
Definitely worth a drive to experience the rainforest through a different perspective. Would recommend outter reef tours for better reef experience however nothing to fault the tour on.

Great day out!
Me and my partner went on the quad and reef tour and the it was great day, great people and smiles all round. The quad bikes were awesome fun, would definitely do again! Thank you Nicky

Quad bikes and green island
The quad biking was amazingly good fun, nicky our guide was friendly and patient with us. It was great to have just the four of us together on the experience. The green island trip was great snorkelling, but we didn't get told before that we needed coins for the lockers on the island, and we didn't get told we needed $20 for the snorkeling gear deposit. Also we thought that our transport back to our hotel was included, but it wasn't and would cost us a further $20 per person, just would have been nice to have had that info beforehand. But overall a great day.

Hi Marie, Thankyou for joining us on our quad and reef tour, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your day with us on the quad bikes. Sorry i was unaware that you need coins for the lockers and yes we should have told you , you can either give them your room key or $20 refundable deposit for your snorkelling gear. We do find that most people like to stroll back to their accommodation after the reef tour as it s a leisurely walk. We do pride ourselves on our small group numbers on the quads and we are glad we could make your feel safe and comfortable All the best.

Great times from rainforest to reef
What a great choice in activity. I would totally recommend both trips for sure. No matter what age or experience with ATV’s if you go in with not expectations like I did u will ya e a great day out. Top customer service by both service providers. have awesome outting as did I.

Brilliant!
From the communication about pick up time to being in the transport up to the quad biking - out on the track - going off to green island;the day was amazing. The quad biking experience was definitely my favourite part of the day and set the mood for the rest of the day. Our guide was friendly, had the group engaging with each other(and as a solo traveller, this made me feel a bit more part of a group) and most importantly made me feel really comfortable on the quad bike. Quad biking up and down hills isnt as scary as i thought it was! The snorkelling on green island was great, except the tide was going out in the afternoon, so that meant a little less time in the water, but that's mother nature for you. I would really recommend this experience as something a bit different to just going out to the reef, try something different in cairns.
