However, I think the session could have been better faciltiated in two ways, Firstly, whilst signing the waiver we asked about any danger of crocodiles and we were told there were no crocodiles around at this time of year. However, unbelievably, the next day a crocodile was sighted at the 4 mile beach and it was closed. I think the person running the session needs to know or be advised on how to answer this kind of question in future. Secondly, one of my kids hit the other with the paddle board early on in the session and this caused the other kid a lot of distress. It would have been helpful for the supervisor to have checked in with my younger child particularly as he had a big bruise the next day. Nothing serious but some intervention was warranted or requesting parental involvement (I was close by in the beach but not at the session) rather than leaving them To their own devices.
