I’d done 2 jet boat rides in Queenstown before this, and my oh my this was sooo much better! Chris was such a fun driver, flying past cliffs, trees, exposed river rocks, and pulling 360’s like it was nothing! The scenery is spectacular, and his knowledge of the area is a really nice addition to the adrenaline filled ride! An absolute must for anyone travelling through Lewis Pass, the township of Hanmer is also delightful and well worth pulling off the highway for! The free pics of the ride are a lovely bonus! Hats off to Amauri Jet, was so pleasantly surprised by how good this was!

I enjoyed the kayak trip watching the sunset. The guides were very friendly and the trip was pleasant.

This might be the best hidden gem on the South Island, what a fun day! Things to do include the cold room where it gets to -18 Celsius, the ice challenge for how long you can have you hand in freezing water, the little penguins, huskies, snow mobile ride, and the 4D movie. I spent about 2 hours here and had such a good time, well worth a visit.
