Really interesting way to spend an hour. The portal was weird experience and very clever.

Great bikes, made life a hell of a lot easier. Managed 60km in 5 hrs. Just make sure you don't bite off more than you are capable of. After 4 hrs my husband and I were both worn out. The bikes take the load but you still have to put some effort in. We did Frankton to Arrowtown via Thompson Hill and back via Lake Hayes. Stunning scenery but some steep climbs. Staff at hire place friendly. Maps and signs on route mediocre.
