Great Afternoon

We loved this sailing trip! Lots of information on the history of Akaroa and the harbour. Loved seeing the dolphins and other critters. A great way to see the Harbour and spend a few hours relaxing. Cathedral cave was beautiful!!!

Fantastic boat trip

The crew were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The captain had excellent knowledge of the history of the area. He also knew how to entice the dolphins to come to the boat.

Sailing with the dolphins

This venerable 1922 kauri ketch takes you on the same tour as the snazzy catamaran boats, but in style and with the bonus of spending some quiet time while serenely sailing along the steep volcanic cliffs. The commentary by skipper Roy touches upon all the aspects between ecology, history and residential real estate. Wildlife, most of the feathered kind, co-operates willingly by turning up almost on cue. This is the tour most in tune with nature, unless you want to go out on a kayak.
