Stunning!!

Highly recommend - must do while in Tekapo. Stunning water, we stayed in it for hours. Cafe onsite so don't have to leave for anything. All pools have a shaded area which was very nice. And wheelchair accessible <3

A booking does not reserve your spot

We travelled from Christchurch to go to the hotpools but when we arrived at our booked time we were told that they were at capacity. Be aware that making a booking does not guarantee entry.

Got a long way to go!

If you have been to other hot pools you will be disappointed with this venue. On the day we went there were only 2 pools open and the place didn’t open until 11am soo be careful if you choose the 10am slot. The entrance is quite steep and slippy al though the staff had out down rubber mats to help with this. The ice rink looked good and would be good value with kids. Positively the Staff were friendly and the facility was clean and hopefully when it is fully completed it will be better.
