Rachel said... I love the view from the top and have been up many times via the road, but taking the gondola made for a really different experience. The ride is smooth as surprisingly long, to make the most of the views on the way to the top. Once at the top you arrive into the gift shop and at the back of level 1, down some stairs is the cutest time tunnel ride explaining the history of Canterbury, which was a surprise as I didn't know this was here let alone that we had it included in our ticket price. I was showing visitors around Christchurch and this is an awesome activity to show of the stunning area we live in. The top level has the views and a really nice cafe, we had tea and cake whilst we enjoyed our surroundings, Would reccomend for sure.
