Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt :)
Ich fand das Willowbank Wildlife Reserve wirklich toll. Am Anfang läuft man auf einer Art Steg über die Teichanlagen, dann über einen Schotterweg mit Bäumen auf beiden Seiten. Sie haben hauptsächlich Tiere, die in und um Neuseeland leben oder über die Jahre einfach her gebracht wurden und natürlich gibt es zu jedem Tier auch ein Schild, auf dem Steht, was es ist, wo es herkommt und wo es am liebsten lebt. Die Gehege wirken groß genug und sind schön eingerichtet. Selbstverständlich haben sie auch Kiwis, die man in einem dunklen Haus anschauen kann, wenn man schön leise ist. Sogar ein Possum gibt es zu sehen. Für viele der Tiere kann man am Eingang Futter kaufen und das dann auf seinem Spaziergang an das jeweilige Tier (Alle, Vögel, Schweine, Ziegen, Pferde) verfüttern. Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt :)

Sehr schönes wildlife reserve
Es war ein sehr schöner Nachmittag im wildlife reserve. Ich war schon 3 Stunden früher da als die gebuchte Zeit und das war überhaupt kein Problem. Ich habe mir Futter für 3$ dazu gekauft. Die wallabys wollten sich leider nicht füttern lassen dafür aber alle anderen Tiere. Es hat echt Spaß gemacht und ich hab auch endlich einen Kiwi gesehen :) würde immer wieder gern wieder kommen!

Ein ganz besonderer Zoo
Wir haben die beiden Stunden im Park sehr genossen. Zum einen, weil die Kiwis uns sehr nahe kamen und sich bestens beobachten ließen. Zum anderen kamen wir aber noch sehr dicht an viele andere Tiere heran (am süßesten fanden wir die Wallaby-Kängurus, die sich sogar streicheln ließen).

Ein sehenswerter Park
Willowbank ist ein schöner Tierpark. Der Rundgang ist gut beschildert und schön angelegt.Die alten Bauernhäuser fand ich sehr schön. Man kann auch Futter zum Füttern der Tiere kaufen. Für Kinder ist dieser Park ein echtes Erlebnis.

Absolut empfehlenswert!
Die Nähe zu den Tieren ist unglaublich. Die Tiere sind sehr zutraulich. Es war faszinierend. Der mit Abstand beste Tierpark, in dem ich jemals war.
