Want to see Fraser Island with your family or friends? Fraser Dingo 4wd Hire's Group Getaway saves you money and gives you the freedom to do so in your own 4wd. Our aim is that you see Fraser Island's best for less! All our 4wd's are individually coloured and named so you get to have your own personal photo opportunity for Instagram, Facebook,Trip Advisor, travel blogs etc. Our 4wd's are well maintained automatic Jeep's, guaranteed to take you safely to Fraser and back!

This self-guided Group Getaway is per vehicle and for up to 5 people! We'll give you all the information you need at the pre-departure briefing the night or morning prior to heading over. Maps, safety information, driving skills and key places of interest will all be highlighted so you can travel confidently at your own pace.

Hire includes:

• 2 day 1 night vehicle hire, price based on 5 people max.
• Return barge cost (River Heads - Fraser Island), we also organise permits and book the barge transfer for you

Extras you may like:

• We also offer great value camp packages ($20 per night + camp permits local charge organized on arrival) as additional options to complete this fun filled 4wd group getaway to Fraser Island.
• Alternative beach cabin accommodation if you would prefer not to camp - have a chat to us about this after booking if you wish
• Sleeping bag hire ($10 per bag)

Things note:

Vehicle access permit of $48 is paid on arrival as a local charge
• Camp permits are an extra $7 per person per night paid on arrival
• 8:30am departure on the barge – safety briefing afternoon before approx. 3:00pm OR
• 10:15am departure on the barge - safety briefing held at 8:15am the morning of departure - staff will liaise with you to arrange a meeting place for this
• Vehicle will be provided with full tank of fuel and will need to be returned with the same
• Vehicle needs to be returned in same clean condition (Car wash costs approx. $10)
• Credit card security bond required $1000, with excess reduction of $2000 when you hire the vehicle and cancelled up to 48 hours after vehicle is returned in hired condition
• Driver/s must be 23 years of age or older (if your 21 and want to drive consider our Tagalong tour option with the guided lead vehicle).
• Itineraries are tide dependent
• Hire does not include consumables (food/fuel etc)

Price: $600 per vehicle + $48 vehicle access permit, $7 per person per night camp permit (if you choose to camp) paid on arrival.
