How does it work?
Start learning now with the PADI Touch Tablet app on either your computer or a tablet, its simple to use and will guide you through the process.
You need to be prepared to conduct some self-study in your own time prior to the pool training.
The study involves watching short video clips and completing some quizzes and knowledge reviews.
Once you've finished up the study you'll begin the 3 day practical training session with your awesome PADI Instructor.
Day 1: You'll meet in the classroom and complete a short theory quiz and get familiar with the plan for the next few days . You will be introduced to the diving equipment and prepare all your equipment needed for the course. Next, you'll practice basic scuba skills in the swimming pool.
Day 2: Time to get your first taste in the open water! You'll try 2 open water dives from their vessel Blue Manta.
Day 3: This is your final day of the course where you conduct your final 2 open water dives from their boat.

You can let the operator know your selection after check-out.
The learning does not stop on day 3! The operator will throw in a double boat dive to the Gold Coast Reefs and Wrecks once you are certified (conditions apply).
Meeting Location 247 Bayview St, Runaway Bay, Qld 4216, Gold Coast. Drive into Runaway Bay Marina. Leave the water on your lefthand side and drive to the very end of the marina. Our dive base is located behind the Marine Auction office (opposite end from the boat ramp).
