Explore the road to Milford Sound with up to 17 scenic stops along the way concluding with an amazing cruise with towering mountains and spectacular waterfalls.
Our "Extraordinaire" tour is the most comprehensive tour which includes magnificent views of the mountains beyond New Zealand's largest lake, three glacier carved valleys and photo stops in abundance.
Your day is highlighted with a cruise on Milford Sound on a small cruise boat tour. You will be up close to wildlife and have the chance to see dolphins, seals, albatrosses and the very rare Fiordland Crested Penguin (in season). Your cruise boat will also get you right up close to stunning cascading waterfalls.
Along with exceptional personal service, your local guides will share their experiences and knowledge along the way as we travel through awe inspiring scenery. Interaction with them is always invited, and questions along the way makes for an interesting and fun time.
Whilst we always plan our itinerary at the start of the day, we pride ourselves in the flexibility of changing the order of stops if inclement weather prevails.
Our guides are fully trained on all camera/phone devices, and will make sure to end up with a perfect album of memorable images of your day with us!

Superb
What a fabulous experience. The weather wasn’t great and we were not sure if we were going to make it to Milford Sound as there was no guarantee that the tunnel would open. Our guide Steve was fantastic and ensured we had other stops along the way and rather than wait in line at the tunnel he included a bush walk experience. We made it and Milford sound was spectacular. Our driver/guide was definitely one of the best ever as his knowledge of the environment was exceptional as was the way he effortlessly incorporated his experiences and anecdotes into his commentary. Definitely recommend taking a tour …and this one!

Excellent tour
This was an excellent tour, what a great tour guide Steve was, we didn't feel rushed, great commentary and excellent knowledge about the area, the flora and fauna. The boat ride was also excellent with great commentary. Lunch was very good. All in all a well organised, interesting tour I comfortable minibuses with a small group of people. Highly recommend.

Magical Milford
It was a great day out from being picked up at my accommodation to being dropped back again. The tour guide gave great informative commentary and was very flexible ie it was still foggy when we got to the mirror lakes, so decided to do it on the way home, while other tours still visited it and were probably disappointed. Stops along the way both going to and coming from were remarkable and enjoyable. Having morning tea and lunch provided made it hassle free. The boat trip was spectacular and again the commentary was fun and informative.

Wonderful small group tour
Such a fabulous day! Nice to be in a small group with a knowledgeable and entertaining driver (thanks Stephen). Plenty of stops on the way to Milford to enjoy some amazing scenery and birdlife/song. Very well organised with no waiting at Milford - straight on to the Cruise Milford boat (also super) and enjoying the even more amazing Milford Sound. A splendid day and the homebaking and picnic lunch provided were cherrys on the top.
