Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.

It was really good. Kids loved it. Great place to chill out for half a day. Only thing I think would be better if you were allowed to go down the 2 big water slides by yourself, not only down in two's on joint tubs.

For safety reasons we currently require double riders on those two slides. In the meantime, our Violet Vortex and Windy Waiau slides can be ridden on your own if you’re keen for a solo ride. The best
If you're travelling in the South Island - take the Hanmer Springs turn off. This place is amazing. Great pools with something for everyone, excellent cafe and service nestled in an idyllic settling. We would certainly revisit this beautiful little town again.

I took 2 US family members to the pool one morning. We were all marvelously relaxed after this, enjoying a hot shower afterwards. A very special way to spend a morning.
