From RealNZ - TSS Earnslaw Cruise
Jean Jacques, Yes, you can view the TSS Earnslaw from the Wharf, but a cruise on this vintage steamship is a must-do for a lot of visitors to Queenstown. Booking a cruise will give you beautiful vistas of Lake Wakatipu and Walter Peak on the other side of the lake; allow you to visit the engine room and an opportunity to learn about the history of this iconic 104 year old "Lady of the Lake". Great trip across the lake
Such a great experience, only did the boat trip across the lake and that was fantastic. Kids loved seeing the engine room and great sites across the shoreline as we sailed.

Great Piece of NZ History
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip with the kids on the TTS Earnslaw. Next time we would love to do the farm tour & BBQ dinner option. We checked out the steam engine viewing platform & mini museum at the front of the ship - we didn’t know this existed until this time around, as we spent most of the journey out on the front of the ship last time. Take a jacket as it can get quite breezy on the lake.
