Amazing place

A great place to get up close with some very cute animals. The staff are friendly and helpful too. A must do when in Nelson!

Perfect for a family outing .

Small but a great place for kids to visit and would make a great little family outing . Meerkats always a favorite šŸ˜. Had an excellent playground and sandpit digging area that kids would love .

Review of Natureland

My visit to Natureland Zoo in Nelson was, unfortunately, a major disappointment. The zoo was undergoing maintenance, which wasn’t communicated beforehand, and as a result, there was very little to see. The limited exhibits didn’t come close to matching the vibrant descriptions promoted on their website. It felt like a waste of time and money, as the entry fee didn’t reflect the drastically reduced experience. I’d recommend checking for maintenance updates before planning a visit, as this was far from worth it. Rating: 1/5

Filled in an hour

Definitely something for a fine sunny day. There's a sandpit etc there. Wildlife was okay. Only takes an hour maximum to see everything.
