Leave downtown Queenstown in your wake as you power into the channels of two of New Zealand's most scenic waterways; The Kawarau & Shotover rivers!
Skimming over the pure waters of Lake Wakatipu taking in stunning views of the Remarkables Mountain range, we follow the beautiful willow lined Kawarau River, before pursuing the shallower waters and fast-moving braids of the famous Shotover River.
In the shallow waters the Jetboat comes into its own travelling at speeds up to 95 km/ph often in water less than 5cm deep! Your experienced driver will skillfully negotiate the narrow braids, and tight turns of the river while making plenty of time for the exhilarating 360 spins that Jet boats are renowned for.
Covering a full 45 kilometres you get to experience the fantastic diversity of Queenstown's waterways, take in glimpses of local life from the homes lining the lakeshore, as well as stunning views all along the way including river gardens and great views of the Remarkables Mountain Range.

A great activity!!
We had a great experience at KJet! Our host and driver Anton kept it interesting and fun. He was great! We had a great time and would definitely go again if we came to Queenstown again

Wakatipu lake and Kawarau river jet
Very exciting! There were high water after raining so we couldn't go to shotover river. The lake and river were beautiful. The spin was quite fun.

High water levels can sometimes prevent us from accessing the Shotover River for safety reasons, but it’s great to hear you still found the spins fun and the experience worthwhile. Spectacular
Exhilarating fun, best jet boat ride I’ve ever been on. Felt safe and our driver Ben did a fantastic job, checking in that everyone was happy throughout the ride. Be prepared to get very wet! Great value for money

A must do!
We mistakenly went to the wrong departure point, and the crew were so lovely about making sure we could still have our experience! The views, the humour and the skill of our captain were all top notch! This deal is great value for money
