Beautiful and relaxing place
My husband and I went and spent half a day there just roaming from one pool to the next. The lounge chair was pleasantly comfortable and ergonomic. The only wish I have is that it has more shaded area. At times it can be super hot from the sun. Winter will be perfect here.

Spending a leisurely stretch moving between pools is a lovely way to enjoy the day, and we appreciate your note around shade, particularly during the warmer months. Seasonal differences do change how the space feels, and winter does bring a gentler balance between sun and soak. Relaxing Rotorua
A pool for everyone from hot and inviting Sulphur to lukewarm luxury its an experience you don't want to miss. Grab an ice-cream from the café on your way out to top off your visit.

Close early not 11pm
The facility is beautiful! BUT! We arrived at 9:30 PM, thinking the facility closed at 11:00 PM, which would give us nearly 1.5 hours to enjoy. We were informed that pool use needed to stop by 10:45 PM, which was fine since we’d need time to shower anyway. However, at 10:00 PM, we were suddenly told we had only 30 minutes left. As a result, we barely spent 40 minutes in the pool and spent the whole time worrying about the clock. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Hi Tanya. Thank you for your feedback. We close at 11pm which means everyone needs to be showered, dressed and on their way out by then. We start our evening pool emptying and cleaning procedures at 11pm when our night maintenance crew comes on. You should have only been asked to vacate the pools and proceed to the changing rooms at 10:40/10:45 pm though which would have given you an extra 10 minutes. We will certainly bring this up to our pool management team. We are sorry to see that this made became anxious around time instead of enjoying your soak. Hopefully you can return for a really long soak and come visit us earlier in the day.

A must-try!
Highly recommend, always a relaxing day here! If you're able to get the deal for Pavilion Pools, I recommend that - just bring your own towel/minimal valuables and you can save a bunch of money.
