Great place to visit.
What an amazing place.In the mist of natural bush there are mud pools.boiling hot streams and white terraces.we enjoyed it very much.Give it 5 stars .

A great way to experience the geothermal wonders of the area without the crowds and with space to enjoy.

Didn't Attend
I actually didn't use this booking due to a separation and having to meet with real estate agents. I did contact Orakai via email without receiving a reply, which was a shame considering the circumstances. I have wanted to visit for a while and had taken time off work when I planned this day out. The low rating is due to the company not responding to my email only, I would still like to visit when I can at a later date.

Great experience
Our group included a German exchange student, a four and 2 year old and grandmother. We all enjoyed the experience and coped pretty well with all the up and down steps.. the smell and boiling mud and steam. We went early and dressed warmly, but got very hot with the heat of the ground, and the sun.. something i hadn't really expected. But overall it was great đź‘Ť

Fantastic experience
Highly recommend booking a visit to Orakei Korako. The short ferry ride across the Waikato River was just the precursor to an amazing morning, walking through the stunning silica terraces. Lots of steps along the way but well worth it, as the incredible views kept appearing around every corner. Bubbling mud pools and a wonderful cave too. This a magical and very special experience which I shall remember for a very long time. The cafe too was a real treat after our adventure - lots of lovely treats and such friendly staff.
