Head off on a full-day 4WD beach adventure from Noosa to Double Island Point via the incredible Great Beach Drive. Travel through the Great Sandy National Park, passing the famous Rainbow Beach coloured sands before arriving at a secluded coastal paradise.
Spend time at Honeymoon Bay swimming in clear waters, spotting wildlife like dolphins, turtles and (seasonally) whales, or enjoying activities like surfing, paddleboarding or simply relaxing on the beach. With fewer crowds than Noosa, Double Island Point offers long, clean waves and a true escape into nature.

4WD transport, Noosa North Shore ferry & national park access

Free time to swim, explore and relax
Optional gear hire (on request): kayak or SUP (lagoon use only), surfboards (hard/soft), bodyboard, floating ring, CoolCabana (1 per group), cooler bag, toddler beach toys, wetsuit or wetshirt
You’re welcome to bring your own surfboard (just let us know in advance so space can be arranged).
Itinerary (6hours)
- Depart Noosa in specialised 4WD vehicles from pick up points.
- Travel via Noosa North Shore ferry and onto Teewah Beach.
- Experience the thrill of the Great Beach Drive passing the stunning Rainbow Beach coloured sand cliffs & Fraser Island views.
- Breathtaking remote beaches > an amazing sense of freedom.
- Arrive at an untouched paradise, Double Island Point.
- Home to Australia’s longest waves & many Australian wildlife.
- Relax, play, explore.
- Light snacks & refreshments provided.
- Return trip along the Great Beach Drive to Noosa.
- Large range of board equipment is available on request

4WD trip
The driver and guide was excellent. Super informative and respectful. Very good driver, we felt completely safe at all times.

Great family day
We had a great day with the family on this trip. From the 4wd ride to the beach and surfing was amazing for the kids. Would definitely recommend this for families. There was a Bay Area very sheltered for playing and younger kids amd waves for surfing. Tour guides were great, nice bit of information on the way out and back about the area, pointing out wildlife etc.
