New convert

Loved it!! Jimmy was the best instructor. He was very clear and patient. Nice bloke to have a conversation with as you're paddling around the river. Just found my new summer sport.

Good experience

I had a go at the Stand Up Paddle Boarding. It's a great experience, yes, you will probably fall in the water at some time, but that is part of the fun. in May the water wasn't too cold (for a Victorian). On the day I took the lesson I was the only participant, so had a one on one lesson. You get good basic instruction and you are soon standing up paddling away. The lesson was on the river so the water is fairly smooth, just watch out for the wake from boats. Have a bit of excitement and give it a go!
