Ticket Option 1 –Whitehaven Beach All Day! (4 hours at the beach)

Ticket Option 2 –Whitehaven Beach Plus Snorkelling (2.5 hours at the beach plus a dedicated snorkel trip)

  • Snorkelling Experience – Snorkel coral reefs in the Whitsunday Islands. Get picked up from Super Flyer on our fast 30-person dedicated snorkelling boat. (60-minute snorkel time)
  • Day Resort Atmosphere – Chill out on the iconic white sands of Whitehaven Beach or sun lounges on the boat.
  • Unlimited Beach Transfers – Hop on and off the boat at your leisure.

ZigZag Whitsundays Day Tour Itinerary

  • 8:20am | Check-in Meet the crew at Coral Sea Marina, Meeting Point D, Airlie Beach.
  • 9:00am | Departure Cruise out aboard Super Flyer, our high-speed air-conditioned catamaran.
  • 10:15 to 10:30am | Arrive South Whitehaven Beach Land by on-demand water taxi. Relax on the sand, swim, or join the guided walk to the South Whitehaven Lookout.
  • 11:00am | First Snorkel Session (Snorkel ticket only) 60 minutes at a coral reef location. 15-minute transfer each way, max 30 guests per session.
  • 12:30 to 1:30pm | Buffet Lunch Freshly prepared and served onboard Super Flyer.
  • 1:30pm | Second Snorkel Session (Snorkel ticket only) 60 minutes at a coral reef location. 15-minute transfer each way, max 30 guests per session.
  • All Day | On-Demand Beach Transfers Water taxi runs continuously between Super Flyer and Whitehaven Beach. Head back to the boat for the air-con, the bar, or a snack whenever you like, then return for another swim.
  • 3:30pm | Last Water Taxi Final transfer from Whitehaven Beach back to Super Flyer.
  • 3:45pm | Depart Whitehaven Beach Return cruise to Airlie Beach.
  • 5:00pm | Arrive Coral Sea Marina Tour concludes.

Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 1

  • Children from age of 3 months are welcome on the tour.Children under 4 cannot snorkel. On the Whitehaven Beach + Snorkel ticket, children must be 4 or older to board the snorkel transfer vessel. Infants (0-3) are still welcome on the ticket itself, but parents travelling with an infant will be split across the two snorkel sessions of the day, so one parent is always with the infant on Super Flyer or at Whitehaven Beach.

Fanstastic day on ZigZag Whitsundays!

We (one couple in our 40s and another couple in their 60s) had a fantastic day with ZigZag Whitsundays aboard the Super Flyer! The boat was super comfortable, the food great and the team amazing. We enjoyed Whithaven Beach, the hike to South Whitehaven lookout (don't go barefooted) and snorkelling off Chalkie's Beach on the adjacent Haslewood Island. It was a fantastic one snapshot of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef!

Great Day out on the water in the Whitsundys

Zig Zag - Airlie Beach We are an older couple in our 60’, my wife did the orange ticket which was for the morning on the beach at Whitehaven and the walk to the lookout with Bree, who was very knowledgeable. I had the pink ticket which was the above. Then in the afternoon my wife went off to do the snorkelling and I stayed in the mother ship had a few beers, relaxed on the outdoor lounges read my book and chatted to other guests. The day was beautiful around 26 / 28 %, a slight breeze, the water was a little chilly but fine once in. We did this in late Aug/25. All the staff were fantastic, from the captain right through all the crew, nothing was too much trouble. The Zig Zag (mother ship) was in great condition, very spacious, very clean and well maintained as were the 2 other boats for the transfers. Morning tea was biscuits and lamingtons and lunch was cold meats and lots of different salads, with buns and wraps. Lots of people went for seconds and it never ran out. Beers and wine purchases on board were reasonable $10 for cabs of beer, or a glass of prosseco or other wine. Trip was great and smooth, no problems at all. We would highly recommend Zig Zag charters to everybody, you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps with your research. Cheers John & Julie (From Victoria)
