kristinef said... The service was great, welcoming and professional. The massage table - very hard, too wide to comfortably position my arms. The room - decor was okay , temperature was good The linen - actual lightweight blankets both under you and over you, very soft and comfortable but would be bulky to wash after every client which caused me to wonder if they would be tempted to reuse them without laundering. - I asked for a pillow under my legs while lying on my stomach , two small square pillows were used which worked, however, once I turned onto my back, one was used under my head and only one under one leg so my lower back was under pressure. - After the massage, I saw that neither of these pillows had a cover on them so could not be washed in between clients. The Location - very noisy, music had to be at a high volume to drown out all the noise in the alley. The massage - I arrived a few minutes late - parking ugh - so I knew that my massage would run short of an hour. I assumed that, to cover everything, a little less time would be spent on each area. - Unfortunately, it was slow starting and a long time was spent on my back, and, with time running short, my poor aching feet were not done at all nor my shoulders (or arms/hands) and no real time spent on my neck. - Next time I run late, I will be specific about my needs My masseuse has some good technique but didn’t apply deeper pressure when I asked her to. I think she would do well with more client practice and in a more upscale location.
