We hired the comfort bikes which provide pedal assist. Service was great - we were out the door and riding in 5-10 mins. Location excellent - bike trails easily accessed without riding all the way from central Queenstown. Bikes good and strong and easy to ride. No mechanical problems or any other issues on our ride. Fully charged, puncture kit provided and back bag on the carrier provided. So we had a great time. We started with the entire Frankton loop and then went on to ride the twin rivers trail and then on to the countryside trail over to Arrowtown. Got there about 2:00pm (left Bikes & Beyond around 10:15am). About 50 km or so biked in total. We were told bikes had a range of about 70-80km depending on how economically you used the battery power. Had a late lunch (excellent at Chop Shop) and a wine and then caught the public bus back to Frankton with the bikes (outside the I site Arrowtown). It leaves on the hour every hour, and can take bikes for free - but maximum 2 bikes, so get there early to ensure no-one else with bikes has turned up before you. $4-50 per person (including bike) - great public bus service QT and great service from Bikes and Beyong QT. Thanks for a great day!
