Clip 'n Climb is the latest thing in active entertainment. Because automatic belays are used, everyone gets to climb at the same time.
Walls include dedicated speed climbing walls with built in timers, to a glow in the dark tower, there is a challenge for everyone.
Suitable for anyone age 5 or older, and plenty of challenge for adults to enjoy the Clip 'n Climb experience too.
Basecamp Wanaka is an indoor climbing facility. There are some fantastic sport climbing walls, have a chat to the friendly crew on the day and organise another booking if you wish to have a go!

AMAZING! Must do in Wanaka for any climber!
Oh my, Nea and John thank you both so very much for providing me with the best climbing experience ? had to go back two more times because it was so much fun. Wonderful little centre with dozens of routes plus clip n climb fun for new climbers and kids. The dark climb was really interesting. Brilliant facilities too, great way to spend a couple of hours. Very knowledgeable staff, always wanting to help.

Really fun
Loads of fun. They just show you how to clip on and leave you to it. And a good work out!

Great place to go back to again and again
Great place for my kids to go back to, they love climbing the kids’ section. Good price for a one-hour activity. We’re going back!

Great challenge
The kids had a great time challenging themselves with the different walls. Staff were super helpful. Great place and would do it again
