Feel free to explore at your leisure or follow the recommended route along the track around the Gardens, onto the Frankton trail, all the way around the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu.
On your journey, you will view the beautiful gardens, lakefront scenery and breath-taking views of the mountains on your way to the other side of the lake.
There is plenty to see and do along the way and you can stop for a coffee, enjoy some craft beer or soak up some sun on Frankton beach.
Up for mixing it up, jump onto a 20min water ferry ride back to Town, departing hourly from four convenient locations on the route.

Excellent
We had a lovely time. We took the scooters around to Kelvin Heights and back to the Rees, before we ran out of power. Just an easy water taxi ride in from there. The scooters are great fun, and the lady who looks after them, very nice.

A scoot hoot!
We had a great time scooting around Lake Wakatipu! The scenery is spectacular and once you're away from the harbour area, the pathway is quiet. We made it to the golf course and caught the water taxi back - which was also a lot of fun! Great way to spend a few hours and get an appreciation for how big the area is.

Great Way to Explore Different Lakefront Areas
It was raining hard on the day I booked my scooter session and the owner, EJ, very kindly offered to let me reschedule my booking to the following day. I had a lot of fun on the scooter and was able to explore further areas of the lake in an easy and fun manner. Highly recommended!
