Glenorchy Animal experience
great views getting there on the way from Queenstown, road was not just a straight drive so be aware. The experience was pretty good overall and worth the trip (make sure you have pockets to put animal food into - as staff there get grumpy if they know if you have food out so the animals can see) Great views and animals were pretty friendly.

Rude, Indifferent and demeaning attitude
Would not recommend at all. Terrible experience. We went there on the 7th day of our New Zealand trip and did not experience such indifferent, demeaning and rude attitude anywhere. We had unanticipated delay while getting there (we reached much before 4.00 pm, ie the official closing time) and they refused entry to us with no refunds stating that we need to be there at-least an hour advance. Since, we did not have local phones we had dropped them an email which they conveniently ignored. It was very clear that they intend to rip off tourists. The lady in-charge is very rude, arrogant and un -accommodative.

Thanks for bringing this to the public's attention. Please read carefully before you book. The activity takes on average one hour. We clearly state, that you have to check in by 3pm. Your group arrived at 3.30pm. Our operation does not stall to make room for late arrivals (3.15pm strict last entry, as farm work resumes after that), by 4pm everyone is gone. We understand your frustration about the slow traffic in Queenstown only too well, especially this time of year. As for refund: you grabbed yourself a 30% off deal, the conditions and cancel policy are easy to find. And while we are sad about the three (!!) one-star reviews you gave us, and we take your anger on board, we will simply continue to focus on making many more visitors happy, by letting them experience our little farm.

Discovering Glenorchy
1st time discovering Glenorchy, the farm animal experience was purely amazing. The owner is passionate & so kind. We felt so gtateful to be closed to those beautiful animal with a breathtaking landscape background. 100% recommand!
