Honey Spinning - Spin Your Own Honey Experience

4.9
118

Join us for this sweet experience as you're guided through the process to producing your own jar of luscious honey!

Highlights

  • Become involved in honey making as we guide you through the extraction process.
  • Learn all about bees and honey with this fully interactive activity.
  • Earn your own jar of delicious honey to take home.

Perfect for families, our honey spinning experience offers sticky, delicious, educational fun for people of all ages!

Learn about why Beehives are designed the way they are, how bee colonies build honey comb and convert nectar into honey and how they operate seamlessly as a colony.

We’ll provide you with a frame oozing with exquisite natural honey which you’ll get to then load it into a honey extractor and wind the handle to make the frame spin, releasing the golden goodness from its waxy cell. Once enough has pooled at the bottom of the extractor you’ll get to open the Honey Gate and watch as your honey pours through a filter and into your very own jar.

Then all you have left to do label your jar and decide how’s best to eat your artisan honey!

Honey Heaven!

Had the best morning at Buzzstop in Frankton. We had never been here before and just happened across this on Bookme. What a find! The venue was simply gorgeous, the shop was overflowing with lovely goodies and the cafe looked fab. Nick was so generous and accommodating and he completely made the experience! The kids had an absolute blast and haven’t stopped raving about it. The adults were pretty stoked too. Thanks so much, would highly recommend to everyone visiting Queenstown.

Loved it!

Enjoyed every bit, even being in the heat in the honey room where we learnt about bees. The funky little honey jar souvenir with a custom label was just the cutest!

Great experience and most recommend

We registered to this experience with our two daughters, Nick welcome us and show the hole making process of the honey with great and educated knowledge about the bees. We are very happy that we took this experience which was both enjoyed and educated. I recommend this experience for adults and children.

Worth every penny

Was not sure what to expect as I don’t have much interest in Honey or Bee’s but just wanted to try something different. I went with my Fiancé and our 3 year old toddler and we all enjoyed it. It was really interesting, fun and educational. We had a good laugh at some of the funny facts about Bee’s. We walked out of there full of knowledge on the life of Bee’s and all the hard work that goes in to making honey. My 3 year old didn’t really know what was going on but he was able to participate with the honey spinning. Highly recommend! Really friendly atmosphere too and nice cafe.
