  • Water Sports World Kayak hire is located at Fisherman's Pier, Frankton Marina, Queenstown

Notes

  • Jet Ski Hire is self-drive. No License is required however drivers must be over 15 years of age. Under 15's are of course welcome as passengers.

    Up to 3 passengers per jet ski combined total weight must not exceed 225kgs.

  • Jet ski hire is for up to 3 persons.

Be careful

No introduction how to drive a jetski is provided. No insurance possible at this company. Big risk of extra costs. Still a lot of fun.

Good fun

My wife and I both enjoyed the experience though it took her longer to get used to controlling the ski jet. The rule about not being within 50m of any other water craft including each other was both understandable and disappointing as it took away some of the anticipated joy of sharing the experience. Half an hour was enough time overall considering you are limited in the area on the lake that you can venture around. If you have never been on a ski jet before doing it on the lake here is a great option as it is quite smooth and the only thing to worry about with the water is the low temperature. I’d recommend it.
