Good bikes & good staff

Lake to Lake is a 3 hour cycling with no stops if you have a little experience. If you want a calm take your time ride go for the full day option. Wild rides will ask you to arrive 20 min earlier for briefing and transportation to Manapouri, pay attention to the briefing since there's some places where you do not have the yellow arrow with bicycle to follow, you can look at your map as well but it's recommended to listen first. I would suggest a bright colored jacket because you'll have to get on the road for a section (the trail is unfinished). Staff is helpful and polite, the bikes are good and the ride is sweet as!

Great cycling track for all ages

Lovely wide track, except for one short section of about 150 metres. Very well signposted and the scenery is beautiful, riding beside the river with lots of photo opportunities. Mostly shaded by lovely trees, and even toilets along the way- cleanest long drop I've ever seen!

great trip

very professional, with good mountain bikes (needed cos its a gravel track most of the way). I chose an electric bike for my partner as she's not very fit, and that turned out good as there's a few hills. The listing indicates that you would be charged extra if you took over 4 hours, but they said that's only if you took a LOT longer. We took 4hrs 50mins.

Good route good fun

We did a shorter loop as we felt it would be better as one of us is not a regular cyclist. Beautiful scenery and good signage through trails. The hills were a workout but all rewarded with great downhill sections. Bikes and helmets were good and staff were honest and informative.

This was one of the highlights of our trip

Thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to ride from lake to lake. All matured aged and only one of us that was reasonably fit on a regular basis 🤔 but we did decide to take the electric assisted bikes. Still cycled as usual on the flat but found the electric addition proved a great asset on the couple of inclines. We stopped and admired the scenery at so many spots and had a picnic lunch and made it back in time. This is one beautiful experience to see the lakes at their prime. Many thanks for this offer. Highly recommend.
