Great Value for money.... plus fantastic scenery

The rain started, trips not cancelled ( always a bonus ), if anything the rain added to the value of these trips....... rushing water in the glow worm caves was awesome!! The Milford Sound was a wash in water falls, with the 5 main waterfalls showing there majesty. We went close/bow into 2 waterfalls!! note waterproof gear or change of clothes needed. The drive out there, at a comfortable pace, with a few stops was 2 hours, including a 10 minute wait at the Homer tunnel. It did not rain the whole time and lots of photos taken. Take snack food, prices are ridiculously high (to be expected IMO).

Awesome Stay!

Thanks so much Sarah for letting us stay at your back this wkd. We all loved your house and made ourselves at home straight away. Super close to everything in the Te Anau - all within walking distance. Sarah’s house is very homely, immaculate and we were definitely disappointed to leave! Will definitely recommend this place. We’ll stay here next time we come to! Cheers, REBECCA & the family xo

Go for it

Great value. The glow worms were not the most I have ever seen, but the trip over, the caves and the presentation made up for it. Milford trip stunning. Make sure you get there with time to spare as the water is calmer first thing to get that perfect shot

This was a truly amazing experience! Cant rate the team highly enough at Te Anau! Our trip over to the glow worms was breathtaking & the crew was very informative with interesting facts about the lake. The staff on site at the caves operated seamlessly, friendly & theatrical and made it an enjoyable & unforgettable experience. Milford Sound (Fiord) was stunning, the scenery completely magical. We experienced rain and sunshine on our journey, so plenty of waterfalls everywhere. We hadnt realized prior to our arrival into Milford Sound that there was a good 10-15min walk from the car parking area to the terminal so checking in was slightly stressful and we found the $20 minimum parking charge quite steep! Overall a great experience.
