Harmeet We so glad you enjoyed our tour!!! and a 5 star review just reassures us that we are doing the best job we can at giving our guests a great experience!! We have informed Ben of this review and he is happy you had a good time with him and Ben also enjoyed having you on tour. Kind regards Joel
Kia ora Clara, thanks so much for review our tour and cheers for sharing your gorgeous pics also! All the best to you for the rest of 2019.. regards, kate
Kia Ora Joanna, Thanks for your feedback. We are glad that you found the tour informative. You were out with our guide Ben that day who really knows the area and has a lot of passion for LOTR and this beautiful region. We make sure everyone gets a chance to take photos in Lothlorien with the different costumes, we are sorry if you did not get a chance to dress up like Galadriel. During our tours we make sure we cover a range of topics including LOTR's, flora/fauna, local history etc. (as believe it or not 50% of our guests have NEVER seen LOTRs , :-0 sacrilege) Based on the array of questions our guides get asked daily - we find that (most) people are interested in the real estate prices, price of fuel, the local economy, life here Queenstown, etc This is not an attempt to 'fish for tips' and we are sorry that you took it this way. Regarding the public toilets - I do agree but a tricky one to fix.. I shall make sure our vehicles are fitted with more hand sanitizer in future. All in all I hope you had a great time with Pure Glenorchy and we wish you safe onward travels here in New Zealand. Warm Regards, Kate
Kia ora Kelly, Thank you for joining us on our tour into Middle Earth. I have tried translating your review using Google but unfortunately parts don’t quite translate that well from Korean so I will respond the best I can and apologies if I miss anything. Your had our fantastic guide Joel that day who also happens to be the owner of the company. He mentioned that you were late for tour that day and also late back to the picnic causing the rest of the tour to be slightly more rushed that usual. I'm genuinely sorry that some of the photos that Joel took of you on your phone came out a bit blurry. If you read the rest of our amazing reviews you can see that our solo travelers love our tour. The front seat is usually a highly sought after commodity and we often offer it to solo travelers to make sure they feel involved and not left out. If Joel did not have the chance to chat to you about your plans in New Zealand then we do apologise. Our guides pride themselves on sharing their expert knowledge with the group and also adding that personal touch to conversations when time permits. In the Lothlorien forest we offer all our guests the opportunity to dress up like members from the fellowship and re-create some of their favourite scenes. You mentioned that our other tour guide (Ben that day) + another family both offered to take pictures of you dressed up in the amazing Lothlorein forest. We are sorry you did not take them up on their offers and hope you can appreciate that we try to encourage everyone to join in on the fun! It sounds like we did not meet your expectations and for this we do apologise as we pride ourselves on being the No.1 rated LOTR tour in Queenstown. In future please do not wait 2 months to send feedback - this is a long time to hold onto negative energy, not good for anyone. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip in New Zealand and had a safe journey back home! Warmest regards, Kate & The Pure Glenorchy team
