Experience the fascinating world of bees at Buzzstop Honey Shop and Cafe with our Spin Your Own Honey Experience. This indoor tour runs from May to September at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM, and from October to April at 9:30 AM or by arrangement. Over the course of 60 minutes, you’ll learn about the history of beekeeping in New Zealand, the construction of honeycomb, and the roles of different bees in the hive.
The hands-on activity allows you to uncap, spin, filter, and bottle your own jar of fresh honey. Each participant leaves with a personalized jar featuring a custom label, valued at $15. No live bees are present, making it a safe and fun environment for everyone.
This experience is perfect for families looking to learn and have fun together. Join us for a sticky, educational adventure that you won't forget!
