I absolutely loved the experience and am looking into doing Heli hiking trip at some point

Okay in the end
Arrived in good time for my flight, however there was an issue with the weather, and we were delayed. It then seemed other guests were arriving and going ahead of my group. We were kept waiting over an hour whilst this went on. Why? No explanation was given. It was really frustrating to say the least. I asked someone for an update, he said two minutes and disappeared! Never to be seen again. When we did eventually fly, it was very good thanks to the pilot.

Great first time flight
Thoroughly enjoyed my flight and the pilot was very caring as I think he could see I was nervous. My only complaint would be having 4 of us squashed in the back making movement to see outside at different angles almost impossible. Also more time in the helicopter and less on the mountain. We could have then travelled a little further and seen more of Mount Tamsin.

Excellent trip to see more of amount Cook
Great to fly in a helicopter for the first time. Views were amazing on a clear day and pilot was very knowledgable. Overall top rating.
