Mine for gold and discover all things "gold" at Goldfields Mining Centre!
It's a little diffrent tourist attraction, but that makes it cool.
Was a wonderful experience. Enjoyed the walks and the gold panning.
It was a very hot day the last day of spring not even summer yet. Tour was good but a bit short. The short self guided tour could use a guide. Very friendly staff. Loved the gold panning especially when husband found some gold. Could do with a sunshade over this area and people would spend more time panning.

Cool place to visit
Some inspiring talks on gold and how people made/found their fortune. We then got shown some old machinary used to break down the rocks containing gold. Also got a chance to pan for gold but ran out of time - only got 2 flakes of gold. There was also a self-guided walk you could do but didn't have time.
