John Berends said... We had a magnificent tour to Milford Sound. Our busdriver/host was very enthousiastic and had a lot to tell about the nature, history and day-to-day life in the Fjordland National Park. He took all the necessary time to explain what we were seeing and took the effort of showing additional things like flowers on the roadside. The main goal of the tour wad off course Milford Sound. We went on a small boat, Mitre Peak, with one upper deck and very good viewing points from all seats on the boat. The captaon took the boat as close as possible to the cliffs. At one point we could even touch them. Also we were right under 1 waterfall getting soaked if you were stabding outside. We got good and interesting explanation from the captain and the tourguide on board. All in all a beautifull and exciting day.
