Driving through the South Island (Queenstown to Mt Cook) was amazing, I still can’t believe how beautiful it was. Unfortunately due to weather conditions we were not able to see the main attraction of that tour or even trek.. Mt Cook. I was so upset/mad/disappointed... but Dan our driver/guide was above and beyond my expectations, he literally made my day even though I was a bit upset about Mt Cook being shy behind the clouds! What a positive guide, he managed to show us another lake instead, said yes to stop when we wanted to take picture of something on the road. That guy is amazing and I will not forget that. In the end it was a great day after all!!
